After becoming frustrated by the lack of decent stock widgets on the Android, I decided to make one.
The result is a CNBC style, two layer, multi speed scrolling stock ticker that not only looks cool, but provides you with up to date quotes for your entire portfolio in a small amount of space.
Recommended use is to put individual stocks on the upper watchlist while major global indices and/or currencies on the lower watchlist.
This is a widget and requires one full line of space.
To add a widget, long click on empty space within your home screen then select 'Widget' --> 'Stock Ticker Tape Widget'.
The widget features a 4 X 1 widget which will work for most phones as well as 6 X 1 and 8 X 1 widgets for larger devices and tablets.
